About the Artist
I was born and raised in my beloved Vermont, and I will always consider that special, unique place home. My husband and I currently reside in Woodbury, Connecticut.
I have been painting for as long as I can remember, more than 50 years. My preferred medium is acrylic paint on canvas. I prefer acrylics because they are water soluble and the richness of the colors.
My biggest inspiration is nature: its beauty, its intricacies, its colors. I really enjoy painting details, and the natural world proves to be the ultimate muse. Whenever I'm in nature, I'm taking photos of what I'd like to recreate on canvas.
My wish is that my paintings provide a respite for those who view them.
